HIGH HOOK FARMS

The proposed 390-Unit High Hook Farm Residential Subdivision is located off of Vance Neck Road. The proposed SWM is designed to utilize existing drainage/conveyance swales located along the periphery of the two existing drainage ways. The proposed development is clustered in the center of the upland farm areas, to best preserve the natural hydrology and to maximize protection of the existing open space areas draining to the two tidal reaches. The stormwater management design includes bio-retention areas and bio-swales that will incorporate the natural hydrology/topography of the site. We also utilized disconnection of roof runoff along the rear lots. The existing natural swales and drainage ways continued to be utilized and incorporated into the comprehensive management and conveyance.

The proposed development is to be constructed under the Work Force Housing Ordinance. The unit breakdown consists of the following types:

  • 121 Single Family

  • 73 Village

  • 38 Patios

  • 28 Twins

  • 130 Town House
